Why do 24-hour convenience stores have locks on their doors?
It's just cheaper to make all doors with locks, because they are sold more often with than without locks.
The second reason is that sometimes there are some cases that force the shop to close as for example shop assistant has to leave the store and there isn't anyone that can stand in for her.
